Window film fitted at Ilminster homes and workplaces
Residential
Window film for homes and businesses
Global Tint fits window film at homes, offices and shops in Ilminster, with technician Dave Horton coming to your property. We also visit Ashill and Broadway, so you don't have to take a trip to a workshop for fitting. At business premises, we plan the installation around staff and customers.
We protect your floors and furniture while fitting the film and leave the room tidy afterwards. Your window film quote for a home or workplace depends on which windows need film.

Choose your window film
Film for homes and workplaces can cut heat and glare, give daytime privacy while keeping the view out, and block up to 99% of UV that fades furnishings and displays. The range includes neutral, mirror, dual reflective, ceramic, frosted and blackout film. Security film strengthens glazing to help deter break-ins. The website's architectural viewer shows the different films on a real building, so you can see them before asking about film for your windows.

Who'll fit your film
Meet The Ilminster Team
Dave Horton is the Global Tint technician covering Ilminster, trained to the same standard as the company's other installers. He also covers Glastonbury, 18 miles away. Global Tint has a separate team in Taunton, 10 miles away. Our nearest workshop is 30 miles away in Exeter, at Unit 8, City Industrial Estate.
What window film does
Window film can cut heat and glare, block up to 99% of the UV that fades floors, furniture and displays, and give daytime privacy while you keep the view out.
Heat and glare
Solar control films reflect or absorb part of the sun’s heat before it reaches the room, and cut the glare on screens and televisions.
Privacy
Mirror, frosted and blackout films stop people seeing in during the day; frosted film keeps the light coming in.
Security
Security film strengthens the glass to help deter break-ins and holds it together if it breaks.
The Global Tint way
Careful in your home
Installers protect your floors and furniture while they work and leave the room tidy.
Clean and careful
Floors and furniture are covered while the film goes on, and the room is left as we found it.
One window or every window
We fit film to a single room or a whole building, and help you choose the right film for each.
Handover and warranty
Home and commercial film comes with Global Tint’s 10-year warranty. When the film is on, the installer checks it with you and explains how to look after it.
A tidy finish
The glass is cleaned and the room is left tidy, with floors and furniture protected while the work goes on.
10-year warranty
Residential and commercial films are covered by Global Tint’s 10-year warranty.
Aftercare
You get care instructions and a cleaning cloth. A slight haze or small water bubbles are normal while the film dries, and they clear on their own.

- Car tinting
Fantastic service from Global Tint
“We recently used Global Tint to have our car windows tinted and couldn’t be happier with the service and the finished result. Dave came out to do the work and was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. He took the time to talk us through the whole process, gave us great advice on choosing the right shade, and explained everything we needed to know about the aftercare. The tint looks fantastic and has made a real difference to the car, especially by providing more shade and keeping it more comfortable for our dog when travelling in the boot. We’re really impressed with the quality of the work and the overall service. A big thank you to Dave — we would definitely recommend Global Tint!”

“Great experience from start to finish. Great communication even down to a text an hour before Mike was due as he was doing the job at my house which was the bonus of choosing Global Tint. When he turned up was a very pleasant guy, got on with the job and was finished within three quarters of an hour with no problems and the job was done perfectly. Would definitely use global tint again and recommend them to anyone.”
