Film fitting at homes and workplaces across Lincoln
Residential
Window film fitted where you live or work
A Global Tint installer comes to your Lincoln property to fit film to your windows. Martin Callaghan covers this area, including Boultham and Nettleham. You can ask about windows in a house, an office or a shop.
For your windows in Abbey, the film choices include neutral, mirror, dual reflective, ceramic, frosted and blackout. You can see these films on a real building in the architectural viewer on our website. Your quote depends on the windows you want film fitted to.
Global Tint Lincoln
What the film can do
Film for Lincoln homes can cut heat and block up to 99% of UV to help limit fading of furniture and floors. In an office, film can reduce glare on screens and give meeting rooms privacy. Daytime privacy film still lets you see outside. There's also security film, which strengthens glass to help deter break-ins; mention security in your enquiry if that's what you want help with.

Who'll fit your film
Meet The Lincoln Team
Martin Callaghan is the Global Tint franchise owner for Lincoln. He did his training at the company's training facility, to the same standard used for all Global Tint installers. Newark on Trent, a nearby Global Tint town 15 miles away, has a different team. Global Tint has been tinting windows since 2010, with teams serving towns and cities across the UK.
What window film does
Window film can cut heat and glare, block up to 99% of the UV that fades floors, furniture and displays, and give daytime privacy while you keep the view out.
Heat and glare
Solar control films reflect or absorb part of the sun’s heat before it reaches the room, and cut the glare on screens and televisions.
Privacy
Mirror, frosted and blackout films stop people seeing in during the day; frosted film keeps the light coming in.
Security
Security film strengthens the glass to help deter break-ins and holds it together if it breaks.
The Global Tint way
Careful in your home
Installers protect your floors and furniture while they work and leave the room tidy.
Clean and careful
Floors and furniture are covered while the film goes on, and the room is left as we found it.
One window or every window
We fit film to a single room or a whole building, and help you choose the right film for each.
Handover and warranty
Home and commercial film comes with Global Tint’s 10-year warranty. When the film is on, the installer checks it with you and explains how to look after it.
A tidy finish
The glass is cleaned and the room is left tidy, with floors and furniture protected while the work goes on.
10-year warranty
Residential and commercial films are covered by Global Tint’s 10-year warranty.
Aftercare
You get care instructions and a cleaning cloth. A slight haze or small water bubbles are normal while the film dries, and they clear on their own.

- Car tinting
“This is the second vehicle I have had windows tinted with Global Tint Lincoln, both carried out by Ben. The first was 5 years ago, a 9 seater vivaro when I sold it 11 months ago it still looked as good as when Ben did it. We have just had my wifes car tinted and it looks great. It is so easy to order and when Ben arrives to carry out work he is so helpful.”

“Great experience from start to finish. Great communication even down to a text an hour before Mike was due as he was doing the job at my house which was the bonus of choosing Global Tint. When he turned up was a very pleasant guy, got on with the job and was finished within three quarters of an hour with no problems and the job was done perfectly. Would definitely use global tint again and recommend them to anyone.”
