Window film fitted at New Forest homes and workplaces
Residential
Film for your home or workplace
In the New Forest, Global Tint comes to your property to fit window film for homes and offices. Dave Horton fits the film here, with coverage including Lyndhurst and Minstead. We also come to properties in Totton and Eling, so your film is fitted at your building rather than at a workshop.
For buildings around Bramshaw and Copythorne, the choices include neutral, mirror, dual reflective, ceramic, frosted and blackout films. You can see those finishes on a real building in the website's architectural viewer.

What window film can do
Window film can reduce heat and glare in your home or workplace, including glare on office screens. UV-blocking film cuts up to 99% of UV, helping protect floors, furniture and displays from fading. Daytime privacy film lets you keep the view outside, while office films can provide meeting-room privacy. Security film strengthens the glass to help deter break-ins; ask for a quote for the windows where you need that protection.

Who'll fit your film
Meet The New Forest Team

What window film does
Window film can cut heat and glare, block up to 99% of the UV that fades floors, furniture and displays, and give daytime privacy while you keep the view out.
Heat and glare
Solar control films reflect or absorb part of the sun’s heat before it reaches the room, and cut the glare on screens and televisions.
Privacy
Mirror, frosted and blackout films stop people seeing in during the day; frosted film keeps the light coming in.
Security
Security film strengthens the glass to help deter break-ins and holds it together if it breaks.
The Global Tint way
Careful in your home
Installers protect your floors and furniture while they work and leave the room tidy.
Clean and careful
Floors and furniture are covered while the film goes on, and the room is left as we found it.
One window or every window
We fit film to a single room or a whole building, and help you choose the right film for each.
Handover and warranty
Home and commercial film comes with Global Tint’s 10-year warranty. When the film is on, the installer checks it with you and explains how to look after it.
A tidy finish
The glass is cleaned and the room is left tidy, with floors and furniture protected while the work goes on.
10-year warranty
Residential and commercial films are covered by Global Tint’s 10-year warranty.
Aftercare
You get care instructions and a cleaning cloth. A slight haze or small water bubbles are normal while the film dries, and they clear on their own.

John13 February 2026 - Car tinting
Fantastic service from Global Tint
“We recently used Global Tint to have our car windows tinted and couldn’t be happier with the service and the finished result. Dave came out to do the work and was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. He took the time to talk us through the whole process, gave us great advice on choosing the right shade, and explained everything we needed to know about the aftercare. The tint looks fantastic and has made a real difference to the car, especially by providing more shade and keeping it more comfortable for our dog when travelling in the boot. We’re really impressed with the quality of the work and the overall service. A big thank you to Dave — we would definitely recommend Global Tint!”
Ruth Scott -Farnell8 September 2026 - Car tinting
“Had my BMW i4 tinted with global tint. Incredibly convenient dropped car off and was finished to collect just over an hour later. Incredibly friendly service from Dave and very good quality of the tint and application. Ran through aftercare to ensure tints looked best and very happy with the service, would use Global Tint again”

“Great experience from start to finish. Great communication even down to a text an hour before Mike was due as he was doing the job at my house which was the bonus of choosing Global Tint. When he turned up was a very pleasant guy, got on with the job and was finished within three quarters of an hour with no problems and the job was done perfectly. Would definitely use global tint again and recommend them to anyone.”
