Visiting window-film technicians for Torquay properties
Residential
Film for houses, offices and shops
Window film for homes and businesses in Torquay is fitted at the property by Global Tint technicians Joe Hayes and Steve Harley. We'll come to Ellacombe, St Marychurch and Wellswood for fitting at a house, office or shop. The wider Torquay area is covered too.
At a home in Cockington with Chelston, we protect floors and furniture while fitting the film. In an office or shop, fitting is planned around staff and customers so they aren't disrupted, and we leave the rooms tidy.

Film choices for building glass
Torquay properties can have neutral, mirror, dual reflective, ceramic, frosted or blackout film, and the architectural viewer shows these styles on a real building. Film can cut heat and glare, provide daytime privacy with the view out, and block up to 99% of UV that causes fading to furniture, floors and shop displays. For office screens and meeting rooms, the choices include film to reduce glare and film for privacy; security film strengthens glass to help deter break-ins.
How we work

What window film does
Window film can cut heat and glare, block up to 99% of the UV that fades floors, furniture and displays, and give daytime privacy while you keep the view out.
Heat and glare
Solar control films reflect or absorb part of the sun’s heat before it reaches the room, and cut the glare on screens and televisions.
Privacy
Mirror, frosted and blackout films stop people seeing in during the day; frosted film keeps the light coming in.
Security
Security film strengthens the glass to help deter break-ins and holds it together if it breaks.
The Global Tint way
Careful in your home
Installers protect your floors and furniture while they work and leave the room tidy.
Clean and careful
Floors and furniture are covered while the film goes on, and the room is left as we found it.
One window or every window
We fit film to a single room or a whole building, and help you choose the right film for each.
Handover and warranty
Home and commercial film comes with Global Tint’s 10-year warranty. When the film is on, the installer checks it with you and explains how to look after it.
A tidy finish
The glass is cleaned and the room is left tidy, with floors and furniture protected while the work goes on.
10-year warranty
Residential and commercial films are covered by Global Tint’s 10-year warranty.
Aftercare
You get care instructions and a cleaning cloth. A slight haze or small water bubbles are normal while the film dries, and they clear on their own.
