Film shades for your windows
For Bristol cars, Onyx is the darkest film, letting 5% of light through; the other choices are Luna at 20%, Twilight at 35%, Fifty at 50% and the lightest option at 70%. The installer explains which shades for the front windows are legal, while the rear side windows and rear windscreen can have any shade. What happens when I bring the car in?
The installer looks over the car, goes through the shades and which are legal on each window, then fits the film from inside the car. Most cars take 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and you get a warranty card, a microfibre cloth, a keyring and care instructions at the end.
Does the weather matter?
No. Your car is tinted inside the workshop, so rain doesn’t affect the booking.
What if something goes wrong later?
Car tint comes with a lifetime warranty for as long as you own the car. If it peels, bubbles or fades, get in touch and we put it right.

Why does the existing front glass matter when choosing tint?
The legal light limit applies to glass and film together, so the glass affects which film you can use. Vehicles first used on or after 1 April 1985 need at least 75% light through the windscreen and 70% through front side windows; earlier vehicles need 70% for both.
