The tinting van comes to you
Global Tint's Cardiff service is mobile: an installer fits the tint on your driveway or in your workplace car park. Our team includes Martin Cross and Darren Baldock. A full car tint usually takes about 1.5 to 2.5 hours, depending on the car.
We cover Rhiwbina and Whitchurch and Tongwynlais, with the installer bringing the equipment and a van that supplies its own power. You don't need to provide electricity, and rain won't stop fitting because the film goes on the inside of the windows.

Your choice of tint
You can choose from five shades for your Cardiff car's rear side windows and rear windscreen: Onyx 5% is the darkest, followed by Luna 20%, Twilight 35%, Fifty 50% and the lightest film at 70%. The percentage tells you how much light the film lets through; your installer advises which shades are legal for the glass you're tinting. What happens when the installer arrives?
They look over the car, go through the shades and which are legal on each window, then fit the film from inside the car. Most cars take 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and you get a warranty card, a microfibre cloth, a keyring and care instructions at the end.
Does the weather matter?
Rarely. The film goes on the inside of the glass, so rain doesn’t stop the job, and the van carries its own power and everything the installer needs.
What if something goes wrong later?
Car tint comes with a lifetime warranty for as long as you own the car. If it peels, bubbles or fades, the installer comes back to your home or workplace and fixes it.

What can I tint at the front of my car?
On cars first used on or after 1 April 1985, the windscreen needs to let at least 75% of light through; the front side windows need at least 70%. Those figures count the glass and film together; older vehicles need at least 70% through both.
What does the car tint warranty cover?
The warranty lasts for as long as you own the car and covers tint that bubbles, fades or peels. If the film develops one of these problems, the installer comes back to your home or workplace and fixes it under the lifetime warranty.
