What happens when the installer arrives?
They look over the car, go through the shades and which are legal on each window, then fit the film from inside the car. Most cars take 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and you get a warranty card, a microfibre cloth, a keyring and care instructions at the end.

Only if the front side windows still let through at least 70% of light after fitting. For windscreens, vehicles first used on or after 1 April 1985 need at least 75%, and older vehicles need 70%. It's the glass and film together that must meet those figures.
What if my tint starts peeling?
The installer will return to your home or workplace and repair it under the lifetime car tint warranty. That warranty lasts while you own the car and also covers bubbling and fading. You'll receive a warranty card after fitting.
