Window film fitted at homes and businesses across Nottingham
Residential
Window film fitted at your property
We fit window film at Nottingham homes and businesses, with appointments at your property. Ben Smith, the Global Tint franchise owner, comes to your building to do the fitting. Our team covers Mapperley, Radford and Sherwood.
You can ask for help with heat, screen glare, privacy or furniture fading when you request a quote. If your business is in Bilborough or your home is in Castle, we'll protect the floors and furnishings while fitting. We plan office and shop appointments around staff and customers to avoid disruption.

Window film options
Daytime privacy film can give you privacy in your Nottingham home while keeping your view out. Films also reduce heat and glare and block up to 99% of UV, helping limit fading on floors, furniture and displays.
If you're concerned about break-ins at your Nottingham business, security film strengthens the glass to help deter them. Our website's architectural viewer shows neutral, mirror, dual reflective, ceramic, frosted and blackout films on a real building, so you can compare them.

Who'll fit your film
Meet The Nottingham Team
Ben Smith is the Global Tint franchise owner for Nottingham. He's trained at our training facility to the same standard as every other installer. He also covers Loughborough, 13 miles away, as well as West Bridgford, 2 miles from here. Leicester and Matlock, each 22 miles away, are also within his coverage.
What window film does
Window film can cut heat and glare, block up to 99% of the UV that fades floors, furniture and displays, and give daytime privacy while you keep the view out.
Heat and glare
Solar control films reflect or absorb part of the sun’s heat before it reaches the room, and cut the glare on screens and televisions.
Privacy
Mirror, frosted and blackout films stop people seeing in during the day; frosted film keeps the light coming in.
Security
Security film strengthens the glass to help deter break-ins and holds it together if it breaks.
The Global Tint way
Careful in your home
Installers protect your floors and furniture while they work and leave the room tidy.
Clean and careful
Floors and furniture are covered while the film goes on, and the room is left as we found it.
One window or every window
We fit film to a single room or a whole building, and help you choose the right film for each.
Handover and warranty
Home and commercial film comes with Global Tint’s 10-year warranty. When the film is on, the installer checks it with you and explains how to look after it.
A tidy finish
The glass is cleaned and the room is left tidy, with floors and furniture protected while the work goes on.
10-year warranty
Residential and commercial films are covered by Global Tint’s 10-year warranty.
Aftercare
You get care instructions and a cleaning cloth. A slight haze or small water bubbles are normal while the film dries, and they clear on their own.

“Great experience from start to finish. Great communication even down to a text an hour before Mike was due as he was doing the job at my house which was the bonus of choosing Global Tint. When he turned up was a very pleasant guy, got on with the job and was finished within three quarters of an hour with no problems and the job was done perfectly. Would definitely use global tint again and recommend them to anyone.”
