Your installer will advise you on legal shades; the rear side windows and rear windscreen can have any shade. Onyx lets through 5% of light, Luna 20%, Twilight 35%, Fifty 50% and the lightest film 70%, so a smaller number means a darker tint. What happens when the installer arrives?
They look over the car, go through the shades and which are legal on each window, then fit the film from inside the car. Most cars take 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and you get a warranty card, a microfibre cloth, a keyring and care instructions at the end.
Does the weather matter?
Rarely. The film goes on the inside of the glass, so rain doesn’t stop the job, and the van carries its own power and everything the installer needs.
What if something goes wrong later?
Car tint comes with a lifetime warranty for as long as you own the car. If it peels, bubbles or fades, the installer comes back to your home or workplace and fixes it.

If the tint peels, bubbles or fades, the installer comes back to your Nottingham home or workplace to fix it under the lifetime warranty while you own the car. You'll get a warranty card and care instructions after fitting, plus a microfibre cloth and keyring.
