Onyx lets through 5% of light, Luna 20%, Twilight 35%, Fifty 50% and the lightest film 70%; the lower the number, the darker the tint. What happens when the installer arrives?
They look over the car, go through the shades and which are legal on each window, then fit the film from inside the car. Most cars take 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and you get a warranty card, a microfibre cloth, a keyring and care instructions at the end.

Which window tint limits apply to my car?
For a car first used on or after 1 April 1985, the windscreen must let through at least 75% of light and the front side windows at least 70%. Older cars need at least 70% through both. These limits apply to the glass and film together; rear side windows and the rear windscreen can have any shade.
What does the car tint warranty cover here?
The lifetime warranty covers peeling, bubbling and fading for as long as you own the car, whether we fit it in Appleton or another covered Benfleet area. If one of those faults develops, the installer comes back to your home or workplace to repair it. Once the film's fitted, you'll get a warranty card with care instructions, plus a microfibre cleaning cloth and keyring.
