We tint car windows in Southend with a mobile service. You can choose Onyx 5%, the darkest shade, Luna 20%, Twilight 35%, Fifty 50% or the lightest at 70%; the number tells you how much light gets through. The rear side windows and rear windscreen can have any shade, and your installer will advise on legal choices for the front glass. What happens when the installer arrives?
They look over the car, go through the shades and which are legal on each window, then fit the film from inside the car. Most cars take 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and you get a warranty card, a microfibre cloth, a keyring and care instructions at the end.
Does the weather matter?
Rarely. The film goes on the inside of the glass, so rain doesn’t stop the job, and the van carries its own power and everything the installer needs.
What if something goes wrong later?
Car tint comes with a lifetime warranty for as long as you own the car. If it peels, bubbles or fades, the installer comes back to your home or workplace and fixes it.

What are the front-window light limits?
For a Southend vehicle first used on or after 1 April 1985, the windscreen must let at least 75% of light through and the front side windows at least 70%. The glass and film together must meet those limits. For older vehicles, both minimums are 70%.
Does the warranty include a return visit?
Yes, the installer will return to your Southend home or workplace if the film peels, bubbles or fades while you own the car. That's covered by the lifetime warranty, and you'll receive a warranty card and care instructions after fitting. Small water bubbles or haze just after the job are normal and clear as the film dries.
