What happens when the installer arrives?
They look over the car, go through the shades and which are legal on each window, then fit the film from inside the car. Most cars take 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and you get a warranty card, a microfibre cloth, a keyring and care instructions at the end.

Rarely. The film goes on the inside of the glass, so rain doesn’t stop the job, and the van carries its own power and everything the installer needs.

If your vehicle was first used on or after 1 April 1985, the windscreen must let through at least 75% of light and the front side windows at least 70%. For vehicles first used before that date, both must let through at least 70% of light. The figures are for the glass and film together; your mobile installer advises on legal shades when visiting your home or workplace.
What does the car tint warranty cover?
Your car tint has a lifetime warranty covering peeling, bubbling or fading for as long as you own the car. If that happens, your installer comes back to your home or workplace to fix it, including addresses in Buckland and Whitfield. You'll receive a warranty card, a microfibre cleaning cloth and a keyring after fitting.
