Rarely. The film goes on the inside of the glass, so rain doesn’t stop the job, and the van carries its own power and everything the installer needs.
What if something goes wrong later?
Car tint comes with a lifetime warranty for as long as you own the car. If it peels, bubbles or fades, the installer comes back to your home or workplace and fixes it.

These limits apply to the glass and film together, so the film's percentage alone won't tell you whether the finished tint is legal.
What if my tint starts peeling after fitting?
Peeling tint is repaired under the lifetime warranty for as long as you own the car. If your car was tinted in Maidenhead, the installer comes back to your home or workplace to put it right. The warranty also covers bubbling and fading.
