What happens when the installer arrives?
They look over the car, go through the shades and which are legal on each window, then fit the film from inside the car. Most cars take 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and you get a warranty card, a microfibre cloth, a keyring and care instructions at the end.
Does the weather matter?
Rarely. The film goes on the inside of the glass, so rain doesn’t stop the job, and the van carries its own power and everything the installer needs.
What if something goes wrong later?
Car tint comes with a lifetime warranty for as long as you own the car. If it peels, bubbles or fades, the installer comes back to your home or workplace and fixes it.

Can I choose a very dark tint for the front side windows?
Only if the glass and film together still let through at least 70% of light. Windscreens need to let through at least 75% on vehicles first used on or after 1 April 1985, and at least 70% on older vehicles. Your installer will explain the legal options for your car.
Why does the tint look hazy just after fitting?
The film can look hazy because it's still drying after fitting. Small water bubbles are normal too, and both should clear as it cures. After your Uxbridge fitting, you'll get care instructions, a microfibre cleaning cloth, a warranty card and a keyring.
