What limits apply to the front windows?
Vehicles first used on or after 1 April 1985 need at least 75% light transmission through the windscreen and 70% through front side windows. These limits count glass and film together. Older vehicles need 70% through both. There's no shade restriction for rear side windows or the rear windscreen.
