Mobile car tinting
Global Tint fits car window film in St Albans without a workshop visit. Renan can tint your windows on your driveway or in the car park at work. His van has the fitting equipment and its own power, so you don't need to supply electricity.
We visit Bernards Heath, Hill End and Sopwell, along with other parts of the St Albans council area. Choose your car's make and model in the quote above to get a price, then pick a fitting time.
Global Tint St Albans
Choosing your tint
For tinting around St Albans, the website's tint viewer lets you compare five shades on your own car model. Onyx lets 5% of light through, Luna 20%, Twilight 35%, Fifty 50% and the lightest film 70%.
The film blocks up to 99% of UV, cuts heat and glare and adds privacy inside your car. Rear side windows and the rear windscreen can have any shade; your installer will advise on legal shades for the front windows, where the glass and film together must meet the limits for how much light gets through.
Mobile tinting

A three-minute look at a Global Tint installer fitting window film where the customer’s car is parked.
What happens when the installer arrives?
They look over the car, go through the shades and which are legal on each window, then fit the film from inside the car. Most cars take 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and you get a warranty card, a microfibre cloth, a keyring and care instructions at the end.
Does the weather matter?
Rarely. The film goes on the inside of the glass, so rain doesn’t stop the job, and the van carries its own power and everything the installer needs.
What if something goes wrong later?
Car tint comes with a lifetime warranty for as long as you own the car. If it peels, bubbles or fades, the installer comes back to your home or workplace and fixes it.
How we work
Everything comes on the van
The van is independently powered and carries everything the installer needs, so you don’t have to provide electricity or a garage. A driveway or a workplace car park is enough.

What you get with every car
Every car tint has a lifetime warranty while you own the car, and the job isn’t finished until you’ve seen the result.
A clean handover
Before leaving, the installer goes round the car with you so you can see the finished windows, and leaves the car clean.
Lifetime warranty
For as long as you own the car. If the tint peels, bubbles or fades, we come back to your home or workplace to fix it.
Aftercare kit
A warranty card, a microfibre cleaning cloth, a keyring and care instructions. Small water bubbles or a slight haze are normal while the film dries, and they clear on their own.
The Global Tint way
Fitted where your car is parked
Global Tint has tinted cars since 2010, and every installer is trained to the same standard at our training facility.
Rain or shine
The film goes on inside the car, so a wet day doesn’t cancel your booking.
Backed while you own the car
If the tint peels, bubbles or fades, we come back to you and put it right.
