How much light must the front glass let through?
For vehicles first used on or after 1 April 1985, the windscreen must let through at least 75% of light and the front side windows at least 70%. Older vehicles need 70% through both. The existing glass and added film count together, so the film's percentage by itself isn't the legal reading.
What happens if the tint peels or bubbles?
If your tint peels, bubbles or fades, your installer comes back to your home or workplace to repair it under the lifetime car tint warranty. That cover lasts for as long as you own the vehicle. Small water bubbles or slight haze straight after fitting are normal during drying and clear as the film cures. You'll get care instructions and a warranty card after the job.
