What happens when the installer arrives?
They look over the car, go through the shades and which are legal on each window, then fit the film from inside the car. Most cars take 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and you get a warranty card, a microfibre cloth, a keyring and care instructions at the end.
Does the weather matter?
Rarely. The film goes on the inside of the glass, so rain doesn’t stop the job, and the van carries its own power and everything the installer needs.
What if something goes wrong later?
Car tint comes with a lifetime warranty for as long as you own the car. If it peels, bubbles or fades, the installer comes back to your home or workplace and fixes it.

What are the legal limits for front windows?
The windscreen needs to let through at least 75% of light and the front side glass at least 70% for vehicles first used from 1 April 1985. Older vehicles need a minimum of 70% through both. It's the combined glass and film that must meet these limits, rather than the film percentage alone.
