What window film can do
For your York home or workplace, window films reduce heat and glare and can give daytime privacy while you keep the view outside. Films can block up to 99% of UV, helping reduce fading of floors, furniture and displays; security film strengthens glass to help deter break-ins. You can choose ceramic, blackout and mirror films, as well as neutral, dual reflective and frosted options. You can see each film on a real building in the architectural viewer and compare how the films look online.

Who'll fit your window film
Meet The York Team
Martin Callaghan is the Global Tint franchise owner who comes out to fit film for York homes, offices and shops. He also serves Harrogate, 19 miles away, and Castleford, 20 miles away. He's been trained at Global Tint's training facility, to the same standard as every other installer in the company.
What window film does
Window film can cut heat and glare, block up to 99% of the UV that fades floors, furniture and displays, and give daytime privacy while you keep the view out.
Heat and glare
Solar control films reflect or absorb part of the sun’s heat before it reaches the room, and cut the glare on screens and televisions.
Privacy
Mirror, frosted and blackout films stop people seeing in during the day; frosted film keeps the light coming in.
Security
Security film strengthens the glass to help deter break-ins and holds it together if it breaks.
The Global Tint way
Careful in your home
Installers protect your floors and furniture while they work and leave the room tidy.
Clean and careful
Floors and furniture are covered while the film goes on, and the room is left as we found it.
One window or every window
We fit film to a single room or a whole building, and help you choose the right film for each.
Handover and warranty
Home and commercial film comes with Global Tint’s 10-year warranty. When the film is on, the installer checks it with you and explains how to look after it.
A tidy finish
The glass is cleaned and the room is left tidy, with floors and furniture protected while the work goes on.
10-year warranty
Residential and commercial films are covered by Global Tint’s 10-year warranty.
Aftercare
You get care instructions and a cleaning cloth. A slight haze or small water bubbles are normal while the film dries, and they clear on their own.

“Great experience from start to finish. Great communication even down to a text an hour before Mike was due as he was doing the job at my house which was the bonus of choosing Global Tint. When he turned up was a very pleasant guy, got on with the job and was finished within three quarters of an hour with no problems and the job was done perfectly. Would definitely use global tint again and recommend them to anyone.”

Fantastic service
“Couldn’t recommend this company enough, went above and beyond to pick up my keys from my work address to make sure I got the job done at home today (which I knew would be a hassle) - Great communication throughout, would definitely use again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
