Your car can stay at home or at work for window tinting in York. Martin Callaghan brings the film and fitting equipment to your driveway or workplace car park. The van supplies its own power for the fitting, so you don’t have to provide electricity.

The tint viewer shows films on your make and model, from the lightest 70% through Fifty 50%, Twilight 35% and Luna 20% to darkest Onyx 5%; the numbers tell you how much light gets through. You can choose any shade for the rear side windows and back windscreen, and the installer advises on what’s legal at the front. Film cuts heat and glare, increases privacy and blocks up to 99% of UV. What happens when the installer arrives?
They look over the car, go through the shades and which are legal on each window, then fit the film from inside the car. Most cars take 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and you get a warranty card, a microfibre cloth, a keyring and care instructions at the end.
Does the weather matter?
Rarely. The film goes on the inside of the glass, so rain doesn’t stop the job, and the van carries its own power and everything the installer needs.
What if something goes wrong later?
Car tint comes with a lifetime warranty for as long as you own the car. If it peels, bubbles or fades, the installer comes back to your home or workplace and fixes it.
