We fit film to rear side windows and the rear windscreen, with front glass subject to the installer's advice on legal shades. The choices are Onyx at 5% (darkest), Luna at 20%, Twilight at 35%, Fifty at 50%, and 70% (lightest); those percentages tell you how much light passes through. What happens when the installer arrives?
They look over the car, go through the shades and which are legal on each window, then fit the film from inside the car. Most cars take 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and you get a warranty card, a microfibre cloth, a keyring and care instructions at the end.
Does the weather matter?
Rarely. The film goes on the inside of the glass, so rain doesn’t stop the job, and the van carries its own power and everything the installer needs.
What if something goes wrong later?
Car tint comes with a lifetime warranty for as long as you own the car. If it peels, bubbles or fades, the installer comes back to your home or workplace and fixes it.

How much light must the front windows let through?
The windscreen must let through at least 75% of light and the front side windows at least 70% if your vehicle was first used on or after 1 April 1985. Both limits count glass and film together. Older vehicles need at least 70% through both the windscreen and front side windows; rear glass can have any shade.
