Choose from Onyx 5%, the darkest shade, Luna 20%, Twilight 35%, Fifty 50% and the lightest film at 70%; the numbers tell you how much light passes through. What happens when the installer arrives?
They look over the car, go through the shades and which are legal on each window, then fit the film from inside the car. Most cars take 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and you get a warranty card, a microfibre cloth, a keyring and care instructions at the end.
Does the weather matter?
Rarely. The film goes on the inside of the glass, so rain doesn’t stop the job, and the van carries its own power and everything the installer needs.
What if something goes wrong later?
Car tint comes with a lifetime warranty for as long as you own the car. If it peels, bubbles or fades, the installer comes back to your home or workplace and fixes it.

What are the legal limits for the front windows?
A vehicle first used on or after 1 April 1985 must let at least 75% of light through its windscreen and at least 70% through its front side windows. Earlier vehicles need at least 70% through both. These limits apply to the glass and film together; rear side windows and the rear windscreen can be any shade.
How long does a full car take to tint?
A full car usually takes 1.5 to 2.5 hours, depending on the car. The film is fitted to the inside of the glass. Afterwards, you'll receive care instructions, a warranty card, a microfibre cleaning cloth and a keyring; slight haze or small water bubbles clear as the film cures.
