We fit film to rear side windows and the rear windscreen, where any shade is allowed, and advise on legal options for the front glass. Onyx 5% is the darkest choice, then Luna 20%, Twilight 35%, Fifty 50% and the lightest film at 70%; these percentages tell you how much light gets through the film. What happens when I bring the car in?
The installer looks over the car, goes through the shades and which are legal on each window, then fits the film from inside the car. Most cars take 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and you get a warranty card, a microfibre cloth, a keyring and care instructions at the end.
Does the weather matter?
No. Your car is tinted inside the workshop, so rain doesn’t affect the booking.
What if something goes wrong later?

How dark can the front windows be?
If your car was first used on or after 1 April 1985, its windscreen needs to let at least 75% of light through, with at least 70% needed through the front side windows. Earlier cars need at least 70% through both. Those limits apply to the glass and film together, which is why the installer advises on legal shades.
What does the car tint warranty cover?
The warranty on film fitted at the Fareham workshop or by our mobile team covers peeling, bubbling and fading while you own the car. If one of those faults occurs, the installer returns to your home or workplace to fix it. You'll receive a warranty card, care instructions, a microfibre cloth and a keyring after fitting.
