We come to you
We tint car windows on your driveway or in your workplace car park in Glasgow, so you don't need to drop the car at a workshop. Chris Kimmet brings the van and fitting equipment to your address. The van supplies the power for the equipment, so you don't need to provide electricity.

For cars in Glasgow, we fit film to rear side windows and the rear windscreen, and advise on legal shades for the front glass. There are five shades: Onyx 5% is the darkest, followed by Luna 20%, Twilight 35%, Fifty 50% and 70%, the lightest. Lower numbers mean less light gets through, and the tint viewer lets you compare the shades on your make and model. You'll get more privacy and less heat and glare, and the film blocks up to 99% of UV.

What happens when the installer arrives?
They look over the car, go through the shades and which are legal on each window, then fit the film from inside the car. Most cars take 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and you get a warranty card, a microfibre cloth, a keyring and care instructions at the end.
Does the weather matter?
Rarely. The film goes on the inside of the glass, so rain doesn’t stop the job, and the van carries its own power and everything the installer needs.
What if something goes wrong later?
Car tint comes with a lifetime warranty for as long as you own the car. If it peels, bubbles or fades, the installer comes back to your home or workplace and fixes it.

Can rear glass have a darker shade than the front?
Yes, rear side windows and the rear windscreen can have any shade, while front windows on your Glasgow car must let through a minimum amount of light. For vehicles first used on or after 1 April 1985, the windscreen must let through at least 75% and each front side window at least 70%; older vehicles need at least 70% for both. Those limits apply to the glass and film together.
Will bubbles mean the new film needs replacing?
