You can have the rear side windows and rear windscreen tinted, and the installer will advise on legal shades for the front glass. A shade's percentage tells you how much light gets through: 70% is lightest, while Onyx 5% is darkest. The three shades in between are Fifty 50%, Twilight 35% and Luna 20%; the tint viewer shows each shade on your make and model. Tint adds privacy to the car while reducing glare and heat and blocking up to 99% of UV.

What happens when the installer arrives?
They look over the car, go through the shades and which are legal on each window, then fit the film from inside the car. Most cars take 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and you get a warranty card, a microfibre cloth, a keyring and care instructions at the end.
Does the weather matter?
Rarely. The film goes on the inside of the glass, so rain doesn’t stop the job, and the van carries its own power and everything the installer needs.
What if something goes wrong later?
Car tint comes with a lifetime warranty for as long as you own the car. If it peels, bubbles or fades, the installer comes back to your home or workplace and fixes it.
