What happens when the installer arrives?
They look over the car, go through the shades and which are legal on each window, then fit the film from inside the car. Most cars take 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and you get a warranty card, a microfibre cloth, a keyring and care instructions at the end.
Does the weather matter?
Rarely. The film goes on the inside of the glass, so rain doesn’t stop the job, and the van carries its own power and everything the installer needs.
What if something goes wrong later?
Car tint comes with a lifetime warranty for as long as you own the car. If it peels, bubbles or fades, the installer comes back to your home or workplace and fixes it.

Are dark front side windows legal?
They're legal only if the glass and film together let at least 70% of light through, so the darkest film isn't an option for the front side windows of your car. For vehicles first used on or after 1 April 1985, the windscreen has to let through at least 75%; for older vehicles it's at least 70%. Rear side windows and the rear windscreen can have any shade.
What if bubbles appear after my car’s been tinted?
Small water bubbles or a light haze after your fitting are normal and clear as the film cures. You'll get instructions for caring for the tint. Your car film also has a lifetime warranty while you own the car: if it peels, bubbles or fades, an installer comes back to your home or workplace to fix it.
