Car tinting at your address
Ben Smith comes to your Halesowen address to fit car window film, working on home driveways and in workplace car parks. We also visit Belle Vale and Hayley Green & Cradley South, and bring the fitting equipment in a van that supplies its own power. You don't need to supply electricity, and the film goes onto the inside of the glass, so rain won't stop the job. A full car usually takes about 1.5 to 2.5 hours, depending on the vehicle.

What the shades mean
On your Halesowen car, tint can go on the rear side glass and back windscreen to reduce heat and glare, add privacy and block up to 99% of UV. Our shades are 70% (lightest), Fifty 50%, Twilight 35%, Luna 20% and Onyx 5% (darkest), with each percentage showing how much light gets through. The rear windows can have any shade; your installer will advise on what's legal for the front glass, counting the glass and film together. There's a separate home and office window film page for Halesowen if you're enquiring about building windows.

What happens when the installer arrives?
They look over the car, go through the shades and which are legal on each window, then fit the film from inside the car. Most cars take 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and you get a warranty card, a microfibre cloth, a keyring and care instructions at the end.
Does the weather matter?
Rarely. The film goes on the inside of the glass, so rain doesn’t stop the job, and the van carries its own power and everything the installer needs.
What if something goes wrong later?
Car tint comes with a lifetime warranty for as long as you own the car. If it peels, bubbles or fades, the installer comes back to your home or workplace and fixes it.
How we work
Everything comes on the van
The van is independently powered and carries everything the installer needs, so you don’t have to provide electricity or a garage. A driveway or a workplace car park is enough.

Ben Smith is your Global Tint franchise owner for Halesowen, and he's trained at the company's training facility like every other Global Tint installer. What you get with every car
Every car tint has a lifetime warranty while you own the car, and the job isn’t finished until you’ve seen the result.
A clean handover
Before leaving, the installer goes round the car with you so you can see the finished windows, and leaves the car clean.
Lifetime warranty
For as long as you own the car. If the tint peels, bubbles or fades, we come back to your home or workplace to fix it.
Aftercare kit
A warranty card, a microfibre cleaning cloth, a keyring and care instructions. Small water bubbles or a slight haze are normal while the film dries, and they clear on their own.
The Global Tint way
Fitted where your car is parked
Global Tint has tinted cars since 2010, and every installer is trained to the same standard at our training facility.
Rain or shine
The film goes on inside the car, so a wet day doesn’t cancel your booking.
Backed while you own the car
If the tint peels, bubbles or fades, we come back to you and put it right.

Great job
“Ben, arrived at my home in the time slot allocated to me. He was polite, very helpful and friendly. The job was completed swiftly and professionally. He left me a free micro fibre cloth and card with £10 off if I use him again. 👍🏼😊 Thanks Ben I'd definitely recommend you.”

“An awesome service overall! I booked to have my windows tinted after getting a quote (incredible value) online. Ben arrived exactly on time and was chatty, friendly, and kind. He cut and fitted the tints within a couple of hours and the end result looks amazing. I was also able to pay using his portable card machine. I highly recommend using Global Tint. A no hassle, friendly service.”

“Ben Smith was great from start to finish. Professional job at a good price. I got to choose which colour film I wanted and the installation was very quick.”

“Well all of the positive reviews were right ! From start to finish Renan was outstanding. We discussed the tint shade that I had selected and agreed that it was right. Despite installing in 30+ degree heat Renan didn't stop. He clearly knows his stuff and his advise about drying time etc was spot on. The tints have totally transferred the car and has made a real difference. Thank you ! Keep up the good work ! Thanks Dean”

“Great experience from start to finish. Great communication even down to a text an hour before Mike was due as he was doing the job at my house which was the bonus of choosing Global Tint. When he turned up was a very pleasant guy, got on with the job and was finished within three quarters of an hour with no problems and the job was done perfectly. Would definitely use global tint again and recommend them to anyone.”

Fantastic service
“Couldn’t recommend this company enough, went above and beyond to pick up my keys from my work address to make sure I got the job done at home today (which I knew would be a hassle) - Great communication throughout, would definitely use again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers to the questions drivers in Halesowen ask us most.
All window tint services delivered by Global Tint Halesowen are 100% compliant and meet the local Halesowen government laws.
Can you tint a car near Halesowen as well as in the town?
Yes, we cover places near Halesowen for car tinting as well as the town. We also visit Bartley Green and Langley. You can book fitting at home or work, with the installer coming to your car.
Can you tint my car in Bromsgrove too?
Yes, Ben Smith also tints car windows in Bromsgrove, which is 9 miles from Halesowen. Walsall, 10 miles away, is another town he serves. You'll find separate Global Tint pages for each of those towns.
Does Wolverhampton have the same installer?
No, Wolverhampton has a different Global Tint team and is 10 miles from Halesowen. Use its own car tinting page to arrange fitting for that address, rather than this Halesowen page.
How much light must the front windows let through?
Front side windows must let at least 70% of light through, and the windscreen at least 75%, for cars first used on or after 1 April 1985. For cars first used earlier, both need at least 70%. Those limits count the existing glass and added film together, so the film's percentage on its own won't tell you what's legal.
What happens if the tint peels or fades?
Your installer comes back to fix tint that peels or fades at your home or workplace under the lifetime warranty. Bubbling is covered too, and the warranty lasts for as long as the car is yours. You'll get a warranty card, a microfibre cleaning cloth and care instructions after fitting.
