Rear side windows and the rear windscreen can have any shade of film, and your installer will advise on legal options for the front windows. Onyx is our darkest shade at 5%, with Luna at 20%, Twilight at 35%, Fifty at 50% and the lightest at 70%; these percentages tell you how much light gets through. The tint viewer shows those shades on your own make and model so you can compare them. The film gives you privacy, cuts heat and glare and stops up to 99% of UV.

What happens when the installer arrives?
They look over the car, go through the shades and which are legal on each window, then fit the film from inside the car. Most cars take 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and you get a warranty card, a microfibre cloth, a keyring and care instructions at the end.
Does the weather matter?
Rarely. The film goes on the inside of the glass, so rain doesn’t stop the job, and the van carries its own power and everything the installer needs.
What if something goes wrong later?
Car tint comes with a lifetime warranty for as long as you own the car. If it peels, bubbles or fades, the installer comes back to your home or workplace and fixes it.

What are the light limits for front windows?
If your car was first used on or after 1 April 1985, at least 70% of light must pass through the front side windows and at least 75% through the windscreen. These limits apply to the film and original glass together. On older cars, both need to let at least 70% through.
Do bubbles mean the film needs replacing?
No, small water bubbles or a slight haze are normal while the film dries after fitting. They clear as the film cures. If tint peels, bubbles or fades later, your lifetime warranty covers repairs for as long as you own the car. The installer returns to your address to fix it.
