Choosing your tint
For cars in Pallion & Ford, the rear side windows and rear windscreen can take any shade; the installer advises on what’s legal for the front glass. The darkest shade, Onyx, lets through 5% of light; Luna passes 20%, Twilight 35% and Fifty 50%. The lightest film passes 70%, so the shade numbers tell you how much light gets through rather than how much is blocked.

What happens when the installer arrives?
They look over the car, go through the shades and which are legal on each window, then fit the film from inside the car. Most cars take 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and you get a warranty card, a microfibre cloth, a keyring and care instructions at the end.
Does the weather matter?
Rarely. The film goes on the inside of the glass, so rain doesn’t stop the job, and the van carries its own power and everything the installer needs.
What if something goes wrong later?
Car tint comes with a lifetime warranty for as long as you own the car. If it peels, bubbles or fades, the installer comes back to your home or workplace and fixes it.
