Choosing your tint
For your car in Richmond, you can choose Onyx 5%, Luna 20%, Twilight 35%, Fifty 50% or 70% film. The numbers tell you how much light gets through, with Onyx the darkest and 70% the lightest; the online tint viewer lets you compare them on your make and model. The installer will advise on legal shades for the front windows, while the back window and rear passenger windows can have any shade. The film blocks up to 99% of UV and gives you more privacy, as well as reducing heat and glare.

They look over the car, go through the shades and which are legal on each window, then fit the film from inside the car. Most cars take 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and you get a warranty card, a microfibre cloth, a keyring and care instructions at the end.
Does the weather matter?
Rarely. The film goes on the inside of the glass, so rain doesn’t stop the job, and the van carries its own power and everything the installer needs.
What if something goes wrong later?
Car tint comes with a lifetime warranty for as long as you own the car. If it peels, bubbles or fades, the installer comes back to your home or workplace and fixes it.
