What happens when the installer arrives?
They look over the car, go through the shades and which are legal on each window, then fit the film from inside the car. Most cars take 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and you get a warranty card, a microfibre cloth, a keyring and care instructions at the end.

What are the legal limits for front windows?
For vehicles first used from 1 April 1985, the windscreen must let through at least 75% of light and front side glass at least 70%. Older vehicles need at least 70% through both. Those figures count the glass and film together; rear side windows and the rear windscreen have no shade restriction.
What should I expect while the film dries?
Small water bubbles or a slight haze can appear after fitting and clear as the film cures. You'll receive care instructions for looking after the new tint, together with a warranty card, a microfibre cleaning cloth and a keyring.
