From the lightest film to the darkest
For rear side windows and the rear windscreen, the shades run from 70%, the lightest, to Onyx 5%, the darkest, with Fifty 50%, Twilight 35% and Luna 20% between them. The percentages tell you how much light gets through, and your installer tells you which front-window shades are legal. The film blocks up to 99% of UV and adds privacy, while cutting heat and glare. What happens when the installer arrives?
They look over the car, go through the shades and which are legal on each window, then fit the film from inside the car. Most cars take 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and you get a warranty card, a microfibre cloth, a keyring and care instructions at the end.
Does the weather matter?
Rarely. The film goes on the inside of the glass, so rain doesn’t stop the job, and the van carries its own power and everything the installer needs.
What if something goes wrong later?
Car tint comes with a lifetime warranty for as long as you own the car. If it peels, bubbles or fades, the installer comes back to your home or workplace and fixes it.
