What happens when the installer arrives?
They look over the car, go through the shades and which are legal on each window, then fit the film from inside the car. Most cars take 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and you get a warranty card, a microfibre cloth, a keyring and care instructions at the end.

Can I take my car to a Bolton workshop?
No, there's no Bolton workshop; tinting here is mobile only. The installer fits the film on the inside of the glass, so rain doesn't stop the job. Get a price first, then choose a time for the visit that suits you.

What are the rules for tinting the front glass?
For cars first used on or after 1 April 1985, the windscreen must let at least 75% of light through and the front side windows at least 70%. Older vehicles need at least 70% through both. The limits are for the glass and film together, so the shade needs to meet the requirement for that window.
What happens if the tint bubbles or fades later?
The lifetime car tint warranty covers bubbling, peeling and fading for as long as you own the car. If one of those problems develops, your installer comes back to your home or workplace to fix it. Small water bubbles just after fitting are normal during drying and clear as the film cures.
