What happens when the installer arrives?
They look over the car, go through the shades and which are legal on each window, then fit the film from inside the car. Most cars take 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and you get a warranty card, a microfibre cloth, a keyring and care instructions at the end.

Rarely. The film goes on the inside of the glass, so rain doesn’t stop the job, and the van carries its own power and everything the installer needs.

What are the front-window limits?
For a Coventry car first used on or after 1 April 1985, the windscreen must let at least 75% of light through and the front side windows at least 70%. An older vehicle needs at least 70% through both. The limits apply to the glass and film together; rear side windows and the rear windscreen can have any shade.
What does the tint warranty cover?
The lifetime warranty covers peeling, bubbling and fading for as long as you own the car. If one of those faults occurs, the installer comes back to your Coventry home or workplace to fix it.
