What happens when the installer arrives?
They look over the car, go through the shades and which are legal on each window, then fit the film from inside the car. Most cars take 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and you get a warranty card, a microfibre cloth, a keyring and care instructions at the end.
Does the weather matter?
Rarely. The film goes on the inside of the glass, so rain doesn’t stop the job, and the van carries its own power and everything the installer needs.
What if something goes wrong later?
Car tint comes with a lifetime warranty for as long as you own the car. If it peels, bubbles or fades, the installer comes back to your home or workplace and fixes it.

Can the rear windows have a darker tint than the front?
Yes, rear side windows and the rear windscreen can have any shade. For cars first used from 1 April 1985, the windscreen must let at least 75% of light through and the front side windows 70%; older cars need 70% for both. Those limits apply to the glass and film together.
What happens if the film bubbles after fitting?
Small water bubbles can appear while the film dries and will clear as it cures. If the tint later bubbles, peels or fades, the lifetime warranty covers a return visit to fix it for as long as you own the car. You'll get a warranty card and care instructions after fitting.
